Medical Instructions for Seafarers

​       1. Medical tests needed to be taken are

• medical fitness examination
• dental examination
• functional exploring tests:
  • visual test
  • audiometry
  • ECG
  • spirometry
• urine analysis:
  • summary
  • drug & alcohol test
• blood tests:
  • CBC, ESR,
  • glycaemia, cholesterol, triglycerides, creatinine, SGOT, SGPT, GGT.
  • blood group ABO, blood group RH
• x-ray (if you do not have one taken during the last year)

2. Precondition: before the medical exam you must not eat or drink (excepting water).

3. Time of delivery: the certificate will be delivered on the same day, around 17.00 every workday (between Monday and Friday)

4. Documents: you need to have only an ID document and the result of x-ray (if it is taken in the last year).

5. Price: the price of the medical certificate is about 100 Eur.

*If the x-ray is not valid (if it is not made during the last year) it shall be done in our clinic. It costs about 10 Eur.
